What is that?

DeutschSprechen is a mobile app for learning German through listening, repetition, and speaking—with humans or with AI. The cards on the home screen lead to chat, pronunciation, vocabulary, listening, tests, and tips. The menu in the top left (☰) opens your profile, privacy settings, color palettes, and in-app help. This website explains each function in a sidebar hierarchy, without omitting any modules.

Path in the app

First start → Language → Loading → Home

step by step

1) Open the app.

2) Select your interface language (you can change it later in the top right corner).

3) Browse the start cards; a long press displays a brief description.

4) Tap ☰ to open: Palettes, Privacy, Help.

5) Select a card: Chat to speak, Vocabulary for cards.

To use

Speaking practice, SRS vocabulary, pronunciation, license-free listening, and exam catalog all in one app. The interface is multilingual; the learning language remains German.

Notes

Chat and media often require internet access and an account. Word Decks remain on your device. Follow the update notification.
