What is it?

The widget puts your current learning words and the number of reviews you still owe on the phone home screen. You do not have to open DeutschSprechen. A glance is enough.

Path in the app

☰ → App settings → Widget

Step by step

1) Open App settings in DeutschSprechen.
2) Open Widget and choose what to show: words you are learning and how many cards are due.
3) Leave the app.
4) Use your device’s add-widget flow (long-press an empty spot or open the widget list).
5) Pick DeutschSprechen and the size your phone offers.

Why it helps

You see the pile before you start a session. If twelve cards wait in the morning, you are more likely to clear them. At night a look is enough — no digging through menus.

Notes

Android and iOS place widgets differently. Follow the path your device shows. If the widget stays empty, save the settings first, then add the widget again. Counts may be incomplete if you are signed out.
