The first 10 minutes

What is that?

You don't have to open everything at once. After selecting the language, the loading screen explains four areas: Chat (practice without faces), Pronunciation (A1/Children), Vocabulary (Komodo/SRS), and Listening. Then comes the home screen.

step by step

1) Select your native language in the grid.

2) Read the greeting.

3) If "due today" appears, tap there; otherwise, select pronunciation or vocabulary.

4) To speak: Chat, microphone, or log in.

5) Before closing, tap Help and take the live tour.

To use

Short repetitions beat marathon sessions.

Notes

Notifications and calendars do not need to be allowed immediately; only after the vocabulary settings.
