What is that?

No system LLM key is required. You generate the key in AI Studio or at OpenAI. It remains in secure storage. Provider XOR. Empty storage deletes the key. Your budget goes towards learning, not an app margin. Compared to typical AI language subscriptions, this can be around 80% cheaper—depending on your usage and provider pricing.

step by step

1) Select a provider.

2) Generate a Gemini key in AI Studio.

3) Optionally, an OpenAI key.

4) Insert and save.

5) Never share.

Transparent billing from the provider. Free allowance often for A1/A2 — rates change.

Notes

The 80% figure is a comparison, not a guarantee. Quota exhaustion is the provider's fault. Never put keys in Git.
